We are a small community in Pipestone County, located in the southwestern corner of Minnesota. We have retained the flavor of a small ethnic village that is proud of its heritage. Edgerton has a strong economy supported by local agriculture, several manufacturers, and numerous small, thriving businesses.
Edgerton has terrific schools (both public and private), and churches that welcome guests and members with open arms.

- Summer Reading KICK-OFF PARTY at the Edgerton Public Library from 7-8:00pm. This is the first opportunity to sign up for the reading club (for kids entering grades 1 - 6). There will be fun, games and details about how the club works. Children who are unable to attend can sign up any time after today by stopping at the library during normal open hours.

- RECYCLING TODAY!
- Today is also HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE Disposal Collection day at the Edgerton City Shop. It is for residents of Pipestone County. Collection time is 11am-1:00pm. Accepted items include home/garden preservatives, paint, wood preservatives, thinners/solvents, hobby supplies, acids/bases, household cleaners and flammables. Business waste is EXCLUDED, as well as tires, explosives compressed gas, radioactive materials, Sharps and empty paint containers (those can go directly into the garbage).
- Girls Softball Sub-Section Tournament is here today at the City Park; first game is at 3pm vs. Adrian. Winner plays again at 6pm.
